Slings of outrageous fortune

As Shakespeare might have said if he had been a mother:

To be, or not to be: that is the question:

Whether 'tisnobler in the mind to suffer

The slings and arrows of a bad back,

Or to take babe in arms,

And by wearing the babe thus end them?

Or just:

Man, this kid is HEAVY. She's killing my arm.

A friend of ours from our church made this sling for Randa. Megan really likes to be in it and it really helps Mom out too. Randa can do the laundry, the dishes, and even vacuum while Megan is in her sling. As you can see, the sling come in very handy at dinner time when Megan just wants to be held. By putting her in the sling, Randa can still eat dinner. She does have to be careful not baptize Megan with food!! Megan likes her sling so much, we bought a large one so Mark can "wear" Megan to. The only trick with these slings is to get the sleeping baby out and into her crib without waking her.
