St. Luke's South

Here are some pictures of St. Luke's South where Megan was born. We were very impressed with the quality of care that both mom and Megan got . The maternity floor is a 100% secure floor. You can only access it by elevator. You enter though the Emergency doors and the Maternity elevator is just inside the door. You get on and press a call button. One of the maternity nurses will ask who you are and who you are there to see. Once you get up to the Maternity floor, you have to check in at the front desk . All guests have to wear a badge with their name on it and the name of the person they are visiting. The nurses were great. Our favorite nurse was Kit. She was so helpful with Megan's nursing problems. In fact, I saw Kit last week on my was to the breastfeeding support group. Kit was surprised at how big Megan had gotten. She said it was very obvious that Megan had gotten over her nursing problems. Overall we were very pleased with our experience at St. Luke's South.
