Half A Year Old

HAPPY SIX MONTH BIRTHDAY!!!! Boy has life changed for me. My favorite things to do right now are to explore my world and blow raspberries. I can sit up with no assistance, I can roll over from back to front and front to back, I can get on my hands and knees, but I haven't quite figures out crawling yet. I have learned how to scoot on my bottom to get to toys I want. I spend a lot more time awake and playing. Mom and Dad love to talk and sing to me. I babble back to them and blow them raspberries. Mom has gotten use to telling people who hold me, "Watch out, she blows raspberries." My second tooth came in September 23rd. Here are some new pictures of me.

If you will note that the toy next to my leg has lit up. It glows when you move it a certain way. As you can see I am just about ready to start crawling.

Here I am playing with the bottom of the Exersaucer that we are borrowing from a friend. I really like to play in it and Mom likes it because I am in one spot.

I love Daisy. I'll even stop eating to watch her when she comes in the room. Daisy has started to come around me more. Mom and Dad are trying to teach me how to pet Daisy nicely and not pull her hair. I laugh when Daisy rolls around on the carpet.

Daisy and I love to laugh together. Someday I hope to be able to walk Daisy but to do that I need to learn to walk myself.

I really like to smile and laugh a lot. Sometimes Mom and Dad can't figure out what I'm laughing at.

I must say that I think I'm a pretty happy baby. I don't cry too much and I smile at everyone.

I still chew on anything that will get into my mouth. Mom and Dad have to be extra careful to make sure they pick things up off the floor that I'm not suppose to have. One time Mom found me chewing on a bill she hadn't paid yet.

I almost have this crawling thing figured out. I just need my hips to cooperate.

Oh, did I mention that I am already starting to pull myself up on things? I can get up most of the way and with Mom or Dad's help I can stand all the way up.
