Snow and Silliness

It is a cold and snowy day today. We had our first major snowfall. We had a light dusting a week ago but it didn't cause any problems. Today I measured 3 inches on out back patio. Granted that some of that might be from the wind blowing the snow around. The news said our area got an average of 2 1/2 inches. Megan found the snow falling very fascinating. Here are some pictures I took.

This is the light dusting we had a week ago. The trees in the backyard looked really pretty. The snow was gone the next day.

Here is Meg looking out the front door during one of the snowfalls today.

Meg was quite fascinated by all the white stuff falling from the sky.

She really wanted to go out and experience it, but Mom said no. The wind chill was 9 degrees at 5:15 pm.

I just threw this one in. If you look closely, you can see a female cardinal sitting on the birdfeeder. It was still snowing a lot at this time. The white blurs are the snowflakes.

Here are two videos. The first is of Megan being silly. It is kinda loud so you may want to turn your volume down. The second is about 20 seconds of snowfall that we had today. If you focus on the trees you can see the snow falling a little better. You can hear Megan babbling in the back ground.
