For those of you who check the blog regularly, I apologize for not posting for a while. I am having bad computer issues. It's so bad that I had to send my laptop back to the manufacturer for repairs. I hope to get it back sometime in October. Until then I'll keep taking pictures of Megan and the silly things she does. I will try to put up text blogs as I can.
Update on Mom: I am doing well with the pregnancy. I am now 12 weeks along and I am feeling better than I have in a while. This first trimester has really been tough; a lot tougher than it was when I was pregnant with Megan. At my last appointment the baby's heartbeat was 160 bpm. Sounds like a girl to me. We plan to find out the gender of this baby but it won't be until late October. I'll let you all know once we find out.
Update on Dad: Super busy with work. He has put his grad work on hold while we try to get a house. We have an offer on a house right now and are now waiting for the inspector to come out. There are a few issues with the house that we are already aware of, but that comes with buying an older house.
Update on Megan: She is growing like a weed. She will be 18 months next week. Her hair is getting longer but is still blond. Not sure where that comes from but if she is like her Mom and Dad she will start to darken up in the next year or two. Her favorite TV show right now is Curious George. She gets up in the morning and gets dressed. After a glass of milk she starts asking to watch "Monkey" She will also say "George" in a cute way. Since she usually isn't awake when Curious George comes on in the morning, we borrow DVDs from the library. Megan still likes to play outside all the time. Oh, I almost forgot. Megan rode her first horse two days ago. I took her to the local Quarter Horse show that I volunteer at every year. On the day I took her, I ran into an old riding buddy. She loved Megan and took us back into the stable areas to see her horse. Megan loved "Tender." She petted his nose and with me holding her, she petted his shoulder. My friend invited Megan to sit on Tender's back. He is a tall horse so I had to hold on to her tightly. At first Megan was nervous and tense on his back but after a few minutes she relaxed and stared petting his withers and stroking his mane. She didn't want to get off, but we had to leave to go back home. I was unable to get pictures of this precious moment since I forgot my camera :(
Megan's other favorite thing to do right now is dance. Well, it's actually more like stomp. She stomps her feet and waves her arms around to music. I do have a video of her "dancing" that I will post once I get my computer back.
Keep checking back for future updates!!!!!
