Megan Rides a Horse

We finally made it out to the farm today!! The whole family came out to watch Meg ride her first horse. The horse is one of three that is owned by our friend John Tann. This horse is named Whistle Me Zilly, but we just call him Zilly. He is a 12 year old Paint gelding.

Megan loved to ride. She is a natural.



















The stirrups were just a little too long for Meg, but she'll grow into them.















She didn't want to hold onto the saddle horn at all, she wanted to hold the reins.













Meg put her cowboy hat on Mom.

















Showing off. Zilly did very well. He hadn't been ridden in over a year, yet he let Meg ride him without a single problem. Mom even got in the saddle and walked a lap around. We can definitely see Meg doing the Lead Line class at the American Royal in a few years!!
