Seven Months

How fun it is to be seven months old!!! I've had several people lately ask if I am 8 or 9 months old. Mom just says, "Nope, she is just a very advanced 7 month old." I am now crawling and pulling up all the time. I have even started letting go when I stand up. I usually balance for a second or two before I grab on or fall down. For my 7 month pictures, Mom took me to a local park that has a large pond. It was really fun, but kinda chilly. Mom made me wear my winter coat. It's still a little big on me, but I'll grow into it.

Here I am holding on to a tree. No I'm not a tree hugger, but it was something I could pull up on.

Oooh look, the bark comes off if I poke at it. I wonder how it tastes...

This park is right next to some rail road tracks. A train came by as Mom was taking some pictures.

Mom finally let me play in the grass without a blanket under me. I loved looking at the colorful leaves.

I love to explore things with my hands (and mouth). These leaves were crunchy.

I think I like the texture of these dry leaves.

I'll take the leaf over there.

Hi everyone!!!

Mom was having fun playing with sunlight and shadows.

I was sitting on a swing when a guy with a cute puppy dog walked by. I wanted to see the puppy and not pay attention to Mom.

Here I am trying out the pirate themed playground. It has a lot of things I can pull up on.

I'm telling Mom that I'd rather play than pose for pictures.

Here I am pulling up on the side of the ship.

I really liked this playground footing. It was soft, but very textured.

It was soft enough to crawl around on. I was able to figure out how to pick up the dried pine needles. They didn't taste very good.
