It has been really, really, really HOT here lately. We've been under Excessive Heat Warnings for most of the past week. What is the best way to cool off? SWIMMING!!! You might remember the pictures of me when Mom and Dad first put up my pool. It's a different story now. Mom is having a hard time keeping me out of the pool. I love to splash and play with my pool toys. Mom set up my slide so that when I go down it I will end up in my pool. Mom also got me a special swimsuit that is SPF 50. I have another swimsuit that I wear when I'm in the sun. It is long sleeved and is also SPF 50. Our neighbors have a much larger pool that I sometimes go swimming in. I have to wear my life jacket in their pool because the water is much deeper.
Whenever I'm in my pool, Mom and Dad are close by. Mom likes to sit in her chair with her feet in my pool.
Daddy is showing me how to make a bigger splash with my toys.
I like to roll my toys down the slide.
I like to drop my toys into the water to see how big of a splash they can make.
Even Daisy thinks it's too hot to go outside.
