5 & 29

Josh is now 5 months old and Megan is now 29 months old. Where has the time gone? Both of the kids are doing well.

Megan is really enjoying being a big sister. Josh is starting to react to Meg and she is just eating it up. She can't wait until he gets bigger so they can play together. They are both learning about sharing toys. Megan loves to watch Lumpy (Pooh's Heffalump Adventure) and Thomas the Tank Engine. She is very observant. I bought her a new tube of toothpaste the other day. It has a picture of Thomas on the front of it. She kept pointing to is and saying Percy. I kept telling her that it was Thomas. A few days later I looked really carefully at it, and sure enough, there in the corner of the picture was Percy!! No question about Meg's eyesight. It's sharp!! Meg's other love right now is art. She loves to draw and paint. We have her artwork up on the walls in her playroom and in the kitchen.

Josh is growing by leaps and bounds. At his last weigh-in he weighed 17 lbs and 10 oz. He is already wearing 9 month clothes. I went back and looked at some pictures from when Megan was 5 months old. Boy do they look similar. A few differences is that Josh's hair is already staring to come in but he doesn't have any teeth yet. Both kids are sitting up at this point. Josh has finally moved into his crib full time. Josh is still dealing with his Torticollis but he has a physical therapist who comes to our house once a week to work with him and to make sure we're doing his exercises correctly. He is making great progress, but it will be dealing with this for a few more years.

Smile for the camera!!

Playing in our front yard.

Josh was so relaxed in the swing that he fell asleep.

Growing up so fast.

Meg went to an event that our city put on called Touch-a-Truck. There she got to see all kinds of trucks from Fire Trucks to Milk Trucks and just about everything in between. She got this Junior Fireman's Hat at the event.

Sharing her hat with Josh.

Future Firefighter?

On this day Meg didn't want to take her nap at in the afternoon. After playing outside she fell asleep watching the news while Dad got dinner ready.

Here is a video of Meg eating a snack of French Fries while talking to Mom.

Here is a video of Josh and Meg in Meg's room.
